Summary: Accountable for day-to-day operations of the branch including managerial and administrative functions.  Such responsibilities include without limitation, the following:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Branch Manager shall operate the Branch Office in full compliance with all ordinances, laws, rules, and regulations of any City, County, State, and Federal Government having jurisdiction. Branch Manager will adhere to the rules and protocols set forth by MWF

  • Assist in obtaining and maintaining all permits, licenses, and insurances necessary for the Branch Office to be in compliance
  • Responsible for negotiating the compensation of all the Branch Mortgage Loan Originators and employing all personnel in accordance of applicable laws, regulations, and all MWF Corporate policies and standards
  • Responsible for maintenance, cleanliness, and general appearance of the Branch Office
  • Hire and train all employees of the Branch Office in regards to operations and policies
  • Schedule, supervise, and motivate Branch staff
  • Coach staff to fulfill business goals
  • Evaluate Branch staff’s work performance by preparing and delivering annual reviews
  • Monitors quality of service
  • Assists in managing the security and safety of the Branch
  • Must be in compliance with the SAFE Act

 

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position:

 

Education/Experience:

  • Proven ability to recruit and build a high producing lending Branch
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in staff supervision/management including: hiring, performance evaluation, coaching/ mentoring and employee termination
  • Ability to promote sales initiatives for self and others in a variety of ways through marketing efforts including: telemarketing, mortgage and real estate associations and seminars, development of industry specific relationships
  • Possess a high ethical standard and be customer service oriented

 

Computer Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Loan Origination software
  • Internet software
